During the floods that swept away animals and properties and took away numerous lives, Nickson Fondo(The Chairman) with the help of well wishers collected food items, clothing and other necessities and brought them to the affected areas. After the first delivery of the items, more people seemed to be interested in contributing.

Started as AIDS awareness program. WAHAP is a group formed by church members to educate the people in this dreaded and feared disease and we covered a very large area from Mijomboni, Gede, Chembe, Jimba, Dabaso and Watamu. As a community a health worker, i took some of these whose parents had died of AIDS. These children were helpless and I sympathized.
