WHAT WE DO

— We Find & Fund

The child is brought by relatives or we go take him/her when we get notified. The child is welcomed to the new home and given the necessities to feel like any other child in our home. Through the funding from all well wishers we have managed to give our children the best.

— We Build Networks

By connecting with other charity organizations like WACA, we increase the possibility of eliminating children from the streets and give them a future. It becomes more easier when we connect with other organizations with the same goals as ours.

— We Strengthen

Most of the children are traumatized due to the background they come from. We sit and talk to the child to make them strong in facing the harsh world. Our children have grown strong and think positive towards life and their future.
04.

— We Educate

Munyaka Child Centre has it’s own education centre department(nursery school) for the little ones to ensure the maximum guidance of the child during their initial years at the home. We are committed to building more classrooms to accommodate even the older ones.

— We Provide Care

Some of our children are HIV positive but Janet Kenga has been a nurse for many years hence our children are in better and safe hands. Munyaka Child Centre is situated some 100 meters from a clinic where the kids do the periodic visits and check ups.

06.

— We Consult

Due to many years of experience in the field as a nurse and HIV/AIDS councilor, a nurse and a mother of 7 children, Janet Kenga has always counseled the children making them stay away from the bad habits and concentrate on the future.
